I recently built a PC.
I transferred my steam games over from my laptop to my new pc and put them in the new steam apps folder. I can click on them from within the folder and play them straight away but on steam they aren't coming up as installed.
(They are in grey writing instead of white)
when i installed 2 new games today they went into the same file.
I asked a friend and he recommended me to set the steam directory but it is already set to the SteamApps file that I put the already installed games into.
How can I access the already installed games through steam on my new PC without having to re-install them all onto the new computer and losing my save files?
