No SLI connector is attached between my two Nvidia graphics cards. (GTX 760 and a GTX 660).
I get the error message on boot up, and it asks me to shutdown my PC.

Not wanting to use SLI

As was pointed out, he does not have the connector attached. Duh!

So...I do not know. I've never had this issue, but then I've never used two different Nvidia cards together (I have with Nvidia and AMD).

What version of Windows do you have?

This has existed since July? Wow.

Anyways, got the same problem. The only way to get rid of that message is to downgrade your drivers to 335.23.

I've got 760 as the main gpu and 570 doing the PhysX.
Windows 8.1 64 bites and still my SDI finger is in the wrong pie, wish they'd at least add a ticker box on that thing to make it go away permanently.
