Hi I am building a new pc I would like to know if the parts are compatible and would like to know some tips before building for the first time. This is my build specs:

Corsair Obsidian 650D PC case.

Intel Core i5-4670k Processor.

MSI Z87-G43 Socket 1150 Intel Z87 Chipset Motherboard.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Aftermarket Cooler.

Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB Ram.

Seagate 1T Hard Drive.

Corsair Builders Series CX500M Power Supply.

GForce GTX 760.

Asus Internal 24x DVD Writer.

Yes. Can you afford a slightly better PSU like the XFX 550W http://www.amazon.com/XFX-ATX-550-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406413621&sr=8-1&keywords=xfx+550 or a Seasonic? The one you chose is OK but doesn't have the best parts. Are you getting dual channel RAM? (2x 4Gb) Dual channel will be better than just one 1x 8Gb stick.

Seasonic makes all of XFX's power supplies so you would be really good off buying an XFX PSU. You probably are, but will you be overclocking? If not you do not need a cpu cooler and it would be better to get a 4690 rather than 4670k.

You also don't need a z87 mobo if you aren't overclocking, you might as well save the money and get a h87 mobo

You also domt need a $180 case either, I would go with something like a phantom 410 or a 450D.

Personally I would go with the fractal design r4 in black pearl, but I do agree, there is no need for such an expensive case unless it has something which you desperately need or a special colour scheme
