Solution
Golly, I have no idea what problems you're talking about. typically if there's a problem its wih a specific model from a specific manufacturer. The R9 270's in general are excellent cards in their price range and GPU miners covet them for their power to efficiency.

As far as msi goes, this card is a nice price and had great reviews:

But you can get a significant boost by going with a 270X for around the same cost.

$30 MIR makes about the same price. If you're really worried then go for a GeForce 750TI

Artifacts? Not much to go on there...Any card can artifact if its overheating, not gettting enough juice, broken, defective, etc. I have an HD 6950 that's 3 years old, it started artifacting so I retired it to a GPU mining role and it does great. Mines like a champ!

Anyway artifacts can be caused by any number of factors, but I have never heard that the R9 270 or 270X series cards are particularly susceptible.

If concerned though the XFX cards have lifetime warranties so they might be a good choice.
