So recently I have heard rumours that the NVIDIA GeForce will be released soon. And since I will be planning to build a computer and might do a SLI in the future.

Should I go with a 780 3GB or just wait for the 800 Series to be released?

What are your thoughts on this?

If you have the money now, I'd get the 780 now. No point in playing the waiting game. If you're still saving money, however, and by the time you have the cash the 800 series is out then you have a choice between the two.

How bout this. What if I was to choose between a 780Ti SLI (not 780) and a upcoming 880. Which would perform better?

And how much do you think it would be for the 880 (USD or AUD)?

I don't know, since the 880 hasn't been released.

hey, hey , hey again :)  the 800 series is rumoured to be 20% more efficient and powerful and cheaper than their 700 series counterparts, I'd go for the 780 now because the card can run all games at ultra no problem, and when you decide to sli it, it'll be more power than a single 800 series card
