Help! I have a new Yamaha receiver, but the subwoofer inputs on the receiver are RCA. I have an inwall subwoofer that outputs speaker wire. Is there an adapter that will convert the regular speaker wire into RCA outputs so I can plug into my amp?

Sounds like the inwall amp isn't powered, and thus needs an amp, but the amp you bought only outputs a line-level RCA signal and expects the sub to have it's own built in amp, as most sub now have built in amps. I'm afraid with a separate sub amp, you probably can't use this setup.

details of the amp and sub would help.
