I have the adata premier pro 4gb ddr3 1333MHz. Is it better to get 2 more sticks of that and get 12gb ram or is it better to get 8gb ddr3 1800MHz? Do ya get what i sayin?

it depends. it all comes down to price and actual performance. What's the cas latency on your ram? 7, 8, 9? Here's a formula: If you divide the cas latency by the speed and multiply by 2000 you get a time in nanoseconds of how long it takes to cycle. The lower the time the better. So for example, if you are looking at both sets of sticks and one is cas 9 with 1333Mhz speed (9/1333)*2000= 13.5 nanoseconds. If the other sticks are cas 10 with 1800Mhz then you are looking at (10/1800)*2000= 11.1 nanoseconds which is significantly faster. 8GB of ram should be plenty for the near future but keep in mind ddr4 is coming with very large capacity (ex 16GB sticks). In either case 12gb of the slower ram will not help as much as 8gb of the faster ram most likely unless the cas latency of the new ram is very high.

Your best bet would be to get another stick identical to the one you already have. Even then the two sticks might not work together because they were not tested together like a kit of two sticks are. 8GB is plenty unless you are running some serious graphics/video rendering software.

i feel like ddr4 is going to be expensive and i dont have a lot of money to spend.

And you'll need a new mobo and CPU to run DDR4 ;)

that too so most ddr3 boards and CPU's ill get cheaper and they will still be good just not as fast as ddr4.

This highly depends on exactly what you're doing.

If you have a AMD APU processor like the 7850k you will benefit greatly from using faster ram you'll notice higher FPS rates in games. if you want to do more multitasking while playing games such as browsing the web when you get stuck on a level or mission you'll want to get more ram and faster ram. If you're using a dedicated video card, you might as well get a better processor, intel I5s are perfect for most people i7s are great but they cost more.

Another way to increase speed performance is by upgrading to a SSD (solid state drive) the Samsung 850Evo series has become the new standard in commercial SSDs, traditional HDDs are limited because they use mechanical moving parts and have much longer response times. if you're willing to sacrifice storage space for speed this is the single best upgrade you can do for your home computer. You will especially enjoy much faster speeds for every day tasks like browsing the internet, loading video files and games etc.

CONCLUSION: get more RAM and faster RAM at least two 4gb sticks equaling 8gb capacity but of course 2 8gb sticks 16gb will let you do more but they will also cost more 2133 to 2400mhz memory is best, 1600mhz is for typical everyday nothing special home computers; use a SSD as your boot drive and for every day tasks like gaming and surfing the web, then use a separate cheap high capacity HDD for mass storage of files for video and audio. You shouldn't need anything bigger than 1tb capacity for a hard drive and a 250gb SSD as a boot drive. that's the sweet spot for today's gaming home theater PC set ups.
