I put resolution at 1024x768 and other settings at least
I get 120-150 fps
Gpu usage is 30-50 .my cpu is fx 8320(there is no bottlenecking)
So is my fps good with the amt of usage
I hoped for more fps
Thnx

Alright, so we can rule out overheating, FPS limiting (from vsync), and driver issues (well, most likely).
However, you might still be CPU-limited. Not all games/applications will use your CPU and GPU equally. From the research I did, CS:GO seems to be heavily CPU dependent. When using video settings as low as you do, you put even much more "stress" on the CPU than on the GPU. The more you increase the resolution, the more the GPU matters and the less the CPU.

I suggest you try this: http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager

Why do you want/need a higher framerate? Even the best gaming displays (that I know of) won't display more than 144 frames per second. Every additional frame would be dropped anyway.

Edit: I looked at some benchmarks, I'll concede that you should probably get a higher number with this config. What is your video driver version? Do you monitor your video card temperatures? What is the exact model of your card?
Do you experience other performance issues in any other game? And what are the exact video quality settings ?

Its not like that
In youtube some people get abt 180 fps with fx 8320 and gtx 660
I just want to know if there is a problem or the fps is low as the gpu usage is low .and the frames might have been higher if gpu usage is more

Just pointing out the obvious. It does look like a CPU bottleneck, from the info that you have given us. Can you answer my few questions? (Edited my 1st post in case you missed it)

(Edit: updated the link).

And careful when comparing two (even similar) systems, his CPU might have been overclocked.

My card is sapphire tri x r9 290 and i downloaded latest drivers from amd website
I put resolution at 1024x768 . Anti aliasing is off , i turned off v sync in the game settings( i think somethng has to do with TV refresh rates)

Wen i did unigine valley benchmarks gpu went to 100%. I think this means there is no cpu bottle neck.( i am assuming there is no bottleneck as i reched 100% on gpu)

Wat do u think
