Asus Z87-WS. Won't boot to BIOS. Stuck at CPU. Please help.

I have a ASUS Z87-WS, i5 4690K, Radeon R9-270 and 16Gb of Corsair Vengeance. Also have Mushkin 120Gb mSata and Crucial MX100 256GB SSD. Cooling with Glacer 240.
System will not boot. Diagnostic LED's stop with CPU. (LED stays lit) I have cleared CMOS by Asus' new push button and pulling the battery. These are all new components and I have never had a processor fail right out of the box. It's not my first build, but I'm no pro either. Has anyone had this problem with this board? I've tried stripping down to minimum; pulled the mSata and video card. I eliminated the SSD and threw in an WD 320Gb HDD. I'm lost here and Asus' website and manuals are no help. Any suggestions?

does your cpu is in this line of product . Before using the new Intel 4th Gen Core processors, we suggest that you first update the BIOS using USB BIOS flashback, or download the BIOS updater for new Intel 4th Gen Core Processors and then update the BIOS using it. adding found on asus global that it need bios version 2004 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87WS/HelpDesk_CPU/

The ASUS Z87 motherboards require a proper BIOS/ME update to function with 4690K/4790K CPUs. Please see the info in the link below.

scout_03 and Praz-1, Thank you both.... I'm getting closer man! Bios Flashback has worked, but Q code error codes dd53 (invalid memory type) and after errors 111-14 (Pre-memory CPU initialization is started) and 15-18 (Pre-memory System Agent initialization is started) I have tried bios flashback w/o any anything attached except the memory dimms and will try booting again. I'll keep you guys informed of progress...or lack of it, but I have hope now about my summer project!
