This is my first ever post on Toms Hardware and i'm wondering if someone can help me.
Not longer than a month a go I essembled this rig:
Cpu: Intel core i7-4790 cpu @ 3.60 ghz
Gpu: DUAL-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC
Ram: 16 GB DDR3-1600
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G43
Power: B600 600 watt
First i installed Windows 7 on it and the games performed as they should with in most games 60 fps on highest settings. But my everyday use on the computer was very slow and it didn't perform well. So i made the decision to switch to windows 8.1, what made my everyday use go a lot faster. Unfortinately my games seems to run worse and seems to give less fps than at Windows 7. I don't know what's wrong and it is really frustrating. Can anybody help me out of give me a hint how to fix it?
