So I bought this computer the VPCZ13 coming with stock Windows 7 and a Nvidia 330M . I managed to make the upgrade to Windows 8.1 . Now sadly I used to play games on this device but I can no longer do it because now the GPU(330M) is no longer detected. I have tried deleting, uninstalling, I tried upgrading the drivers but it is no use because it does not detect any Nvida card in my laptop. Also, the graphics card is being shown on my computer as Microsoft Basic Display adapter. It has a yellow ! mark over it. That is about all the info I can prove I believe. Any solutions to this ?

That's because the 330M is no longer officially supported and is considered legacy hardware. You should browse around on nvidia's website to see if they have any legacy drivers. Another thing you could do is find your model on Sony's website and download the original gpu drivers for it.
