5 days ago, my WD dropped and hitted the floor and the usb cable was somewhat pulled/stretched out. Since then it wouldn't be recognized by my computer. My WD isn't listed in Disk Management. After I plugged it in, there is 4 clicking sound every 4 seconds, so, 1 2 3 4 click 1 2 3 4 click 1 2 3 4 click 1 2 3 4 click. I've tried freezing it in the freezer for 2 days, but that didn't work. Why is that happening? Is the HDD broken because of the shock? Or the broken one is the USB cable? What should i do? Can I recover the data using data recovery software? Thanks!!

Sounds like there was some damage to the drive when it was dropped. Normally I would say yes you can recover the data, but since you put it in the freezer for TWO DAYS, it is probably impossible to recover now.
