Hey guys! I thank you in advance for your assistance.

I just started a youtube channel for a gaming community facebook page. None of us have video capture devices yet so our current process it to transfer our gameplay from ps4 o usb then to pc then bring them intowindows movie maker to add an intro and output them at 720p for youtube. At 720p the filesize for ~15 min of video is 800mb. We live in an area where really fast video isnt very available or expensive so our uploads take a long time.

I was wanting to see if anyone had a better way to do this or had some movie maker advice so help us keep our video quality but lower the filesize.

Thanks.

You could transcode with handbrake. This should drop it down to 200mb or so. Settings:
Video Codec: H264
Framerate: Same as source
Variable Framerate
Constant Quality: 22
X264 preset = very slow
x264 tune = animation
h264 profile = high
h264 level = 4.1

If you can use quicksync then you can use that if this takes too long. But file size won't be as small.
