For background, I have had this keyboard for years. It has always worked fine, especially for gaming.
Recently (after moving out of a college dorm) I noticed odd behavior in games. If I am holding down W or S, the space button doesn't work. Likewise, if I am holding down the space button, the other buttons don't work. Where ordinarily holding down a button and then pressing another button would print out something like "aaaaabbbb," regarding either W or S it simply stops printing anything when I press space and begins to make Windows error beeps. I have checked, and this applies to the entire vertical column containing S and W - X, S, W, 2, and even F1.
The behavior is remarkably similar to when too many keys are pressed (stops printing new characters, beeps), but I can not see why this should be the problem. As I said, this is very new behavior and no hardware has changed. Can anybody help me out here? This odd behavior is making gaming difficult.
