Crysis series not working (been through all work arounds)

As the title says. I have been trying to get Crysis to run with no avail.

So far, with my valid Crysis 1, Crysis Warhead, and Crysis 2 I have not been able to get them to run.

With Crysis 1 (non steam and running 32bit) I have tried
-replacing 32bit folder with 64bit
-using crack over original
-updating and using multiple versions
-compatability modes (all)

Something is off. I just built a new system with every update I can imagine. Most errors result in black screen and failing to load. Others try and fail at securerom. Others result in general errors. I had no issues before my new build.

Currently have

AMD 6300
SSD samsung EVO
Windows 7 Ultimate
GTX 660
4GB Ram
600w PS

No avail. I turn to you Toms. You guys seem to help out a lot so thank you in advance.

Oh well. I have had pretty good luck with old games and Steam myself. I had an old game called Dark Messiah of Might and Magic I just decided to try one time that worked.

I loved Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2. Crysis 3 is visually stunning but just not really...........fun? One word of advice is that they are fairly short games. Both Steam and Origin have them on sale fairly often. I know I have seen this bundle for around $10 multiple times.

If you want Crysis 3 you will have to use Origin.

Hmm. That is a problem since Origin does not support it by adding it. Too old I believe. It's updated to 1.2.1 which is the latest and won't run on any version. I was reading more and it may not work on an and 6300. Something may not be supported.

Try Steam then. I believe Crysis 3 is Origin only but I'm pretty sure the first games will activate on Steam as well. At least I have Crysis 2 on Steam as the result of a Humble Bundle I believe.

I doubt it would even try to update the game. Just put the key into Steam and download the entire updated version.

Thanks for your help again. No luck adding to steam. Says key is invalid but steam will only allow certain games to be downloaded. I may just buy Crysis from steam.

I have played Crysis twice before with no issues. But I am in a different thread I and I am now assuming its my PSU from 2007. Its decent OCZ but may be old haha.

I just assumed it was one game not working from a disk. Are you having other errors? Any other crashes?

Well I am assuming the game is not psu related now. Since there are a million threads with the same issue for Crysis and Warhead. I was having system crashes to black screen with far cry 3 and skyrim.

Edit: The game wasn't disk related since steam copy and disk version wasn't working.
