I just bought this monitor:
acer monitor

I currently have it set up with DVI to DVI. In order to use the full 144hz, do I have to use dual link DVI? (Which I assume uses the 2 DVI ports on the Graphics card and plugs into the DVI port on the monitor?)

Also in order to use the Nvidia 3D vision, do I have to buy the Whole kit or just the glasses?

I want to use triple monitors. (Only this 144hz monitor will be playing the game, the others will be on the desktop/playing music/extended desktop/etc). Assuming this one uses both DVI ports, the other two will use the display port and the hdmi port. Will there be any problems with this? (All 3 are 1080p)

(FYI I have a GTX 780)

Thanks!

Yes you have to use dual link DVI. Yes you need the kit (it's WORTH it trust me). Also, when you are in 3D it uses 120hz only and each eye is split into 60hz on the glasses. I have no experience with more than one monitor set up to answer the last part.

Also from experiencing a major WTF moment, if you have lightboost hack installed, you have to uninstall it first or it makes the 3D not work.

Okay thanks. So even if the game itself is playing at ~60 fps or less, it's still sending 60 fps to each eye? What is the lightboost hack and what does it do? (I don't have it installed).

And if anyone else has experience with 3D on one monitor and not on the rest, let me know how it works!
