SSD Crucial MX100 128GB
HDD caviar western 1Tb
Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
Seasonic S12II-520
nzxt phantom 401
i already have aoc 20" ,ODD and OS

i have a $400-450 now
recently my g2030 intel rig died and i will give it to my brother so he can rebuild it (i will not taking any parts to it except for ODD ,my hdd files are worthless for me now)
i'm needing a computer now because of my work, can you suggest a components that will be able to upgrade and at the same time with compatibleness

im thinking to build a(for this, i will play dota 2 only for now)

pentium g3240 3.1Ghz haswell (upgrade to i5)
Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H (will it be compatible with g3240)
Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB 4gbx2 DDR3 1600 (or just a 4gbx1 and then another 4gbx1 for upgrade later or cheapest 2gb then switch it to Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB 4gbx2 later?)
Crucial MX100 128GB (later i will buy a HDD)
Seasonic S12II-520 80+ bronze (i think this will be my top problem, can you find different ways for this )
any cheapest casing (i will buy nzxt phantom 401 later or its better to buy it now?)
then ill add Palit Geforce GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual and Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo later

next month i will having money so i will budget for my upgrading $450-500

all suggestion are welcome i love to hear it
thanks

Buy a G3258 ($75) and ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 now. Later upgrade the cpu.

Buy 1 x 4gb 1866 1.5v cl9 ram now and later buy another - exact same make and model

You won't be able to do much with a 128gb SSD. You should start with a 2TB HDD instead.

Get a good power supply that you can use through several builds. Seasonic is good. If you want to SLI/XFire later, you should get a bigger one eg 750 or 850W. If not, get a 600W which will run any card now - Seasonic 620, XFX 650 or Antec HCG 620M

i will not OC, do i need to get z series for mobo? im ok to play medium settings on next gen games
i will install my os to ssd and 1 Tb hdd will be ok for me
can 600w will be good with my low rig and to upgraded rig?

if possible try to stick closely with my planned rig
im not a heavy gamer

thanks

I like the G3258 upgrade path laid out by I7Baby. If you do decide to go this route be sure to get a Z97 mobo ( as recommended) if you intend to overclock which is highly advisable with this CPU. The onboard graphics will be painfully slow until you can afford discreet graphics.

z97 even im not OCing?
i knew Z series is only for OCing ?
sorry i just dont know z mobo's role

i ll just stick with my gtx 750 ti and im not planning to upgrade any better gpu in the future

do i really need thw 600w? or 520W will be the best for my buck

sorry if need to degrade your offering parts i really need to budget my low rig maybe i can lower my budget for it

it is highly recommended to OC the G3258 you can really squeeze a metric ton of performance out of it. ASUS has pushed out bios updates this week allowing you to OC this specific chip with their lower end 97 series mobos. Other manufactures are expected to follow suite.
You can get a ASUS H97 for something like $50 and it will only take you like 10 minutes to up a few settings and unlock a wealth of free processing power setting in that chip.
TechYesCity did an amazing video on a simillar chip with the 750ti vs running a 750ti on an I5-4670k and they pretty much ran neck in neck I will link

if that so, ok ill get z97 even its over on my budget for mobo and even i will not overclock

i can play dota 2 and do some microsoft office stuff on my g2030
so i knew g3528 can do it also
ill just use g3528 for 1month and i will sell it when i upgrade my proc after a month
i have to wait a month to play most of games like watchdogs at low or medium settings
