Will directx 12 come with a higher shader model? Isn't that usual? Since it is likely to come next year, is it going to come with windows 9?
They said the current gpus will support directx 12. Since the current gpus have only shader model 5, wouldn't it mean that current gpus will not fully support directx 12.
I heard that maxwell 800 series are coming soon this year, is it true? Something like GTX880, 870 and 860 coming this october.
I was thinking of getting a 750 ti as an upgrade to my old hd 6670. Is waiting for new gpu worth it?
How much is an estimated cost for the new gpus?
The gtx 860 should be more powerful than the 760, and since i can't afford the 760, i won't be able to afford the 860. So i will have to get something lower than that.
Will there be gtx 850 and 850 ti, (which will likely be affordable).

What is shader model? Way back, before i had a gpu, pop sands of time said it required shader model 3, and didn't work. So, what model does the current games require?
