To my knowledge there has yet to even be a 3.5" SSD.
Even if your case doesnt have 2.5" bays it doesnt matter, their immune to damage from being knocked around unlike a HDD, you could plug it and literally throw in your case for all it matters. More than a few people have just used double-sided tape and stuck them to their case.
