Hello fellow forum users. I'm building a new system and need a little advice.
I just bought a SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W PSU and my question is: Will this be enough for my system? I don't plan to overclock nor CrossFire. Thanks in advance.

System specs:
CPU - Intel i5-4590
GPU - Sapphire R9 280x 3GB Dual-X
Memory - Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
SSD - Crucial MX100 256GB
Motherboard - Asus Z97-PRO
Optical Drive - Samsung SH-224DB
Case - Fractal Design Define R4

Yep, the 280x only needs 30A on the 12V rail, your power supply can deliver up to 45A. You'll be fine with that PSU.

Yes, it'll be easily enough.

When I did a System Build in PCPartPicker and some other analog sites, they said that the estimated wattage was around 400-450W range. So I bought the PSU depending on their info. Later, when I had already bought the PSU and GPU, I saw on Sapphire's website, that the recommended PSU was 750W. Because of that info I decided to post here.

Sapphire's recommendation includes even the crappiest power supplies; A high quality 550W unit like yours will have no problems with the R9 280X.

Yep, sapphire's recommendation is for crappy power supplies, as Eduello said.

The card itself can only use up to 250W, so unless the rest of your system (which shouldn't use more than 150-200W on a bad day) is using 300W+, it'll be fine.
