My external drive fell while it is connected to my laptop. the second time around that I reconnect my external hard drive, it beeps for 20-30 seconds and has its lights on but it doesnt show up to my computer. What should I do? Please help me :'(

You may have likely killed it :( Other than beeps, does it make any noise (clicking, vibrating, etc)?

Try:
-Inspecting the cable for damage
-Using different USB ports on the computer
-Analyzing the beeps the drive is making*

*Hardware often uses "beep codes" to transmit diagnostic information. Look through your drive's manual for a key on decoding the beeps, or search online for a key specific to your drive
