Hi Guys,

First off, I know I could just get some extensions to make my cables look a bit nicer, but if I'm honest, I really hate the sleeving on my cables on both the component and Modular connector ends. This is why I wanna do a full custom sleeving job on my power supply.

I am, however, not looking to spend a ton of money, £30 max, on the sleeving and heatshrink (Happy to pay a little more to get the ATX and Molex pin tools). I've measured everything up and I'm probably going to need 20m of Black, White and Grey sleeving (Got a design all ready to go). I know the best sleeving is MDPC-X sleeving, but it's just too expensive for me to buy.

If you guys have sleeved cables before (especially if in the UK) and didn't spend much on sleeving, which kind/shop did you use?

Thanks guys

As long as it looks nicer than the stock cables I have, I'll be happy :) The other option is Paracord 550, found some for quite cheap but they have a nylon core that needs removing, apparently it can aid when sleeving cables but I've never tried it lol

It's really easy to find :p Apparently you can use the inner nylon strands to pull the cables through, no idea how it would look though so tempted to buy enough for just one PCI-E power cable (I have 4 sets lol) and seeing how it looks before buying the rest

I did a quick search for Paracord sleeving, looks good. It's not expandable which would make things a little trickier and make sure you tape the pins so they don't get caught. Apparently you can melt the ends instead of using heat tubing, which would look pretty pro, although a bit more risky. Now you've got me thinking about changing my sleeving since I could do it without paying a premium.

Lol I know what you mean, it's so easy to get sucked in! :p Then again it is cheap so you could get a little extra to make up for mistakes and still have cash to spare :p
