Graphic card dead?

It was thunder outside so I unpluged pc out of wall and hour after screen was like this http://postimg.org/image/5365kui81/ .I have radeon hd 7770 and its old 3-4 months.There is still green light on card.

remove the gpu and then see if u get a clear display or not if u do get a display then the gpu is fried or else their is something wrong with the motherboard plus also see if it happens in the safe mode or not ....and is your monitor fine ?

75% CHANCE IS GPU HAS GARBAGE TAKE OUT GPU CHECK ON BUILT IN IF WORKS GOOD THEN YOU HAD TO CHANGE YOUR GPU OR REPAIR IT

What your looking at is two things.
If part of the gpu fails you will get a corrupted screen.

Or one of the ram memory chips has failed causing the display to become garbled with lines.
If the card has been overclocked in any manner it can be the cause.

You should try loading windows in safe mode, if you get a nice clean screen image. then uninstall the catalyst drivers through safe mode.
Restart and re install the video drivers in normal windows mode.
If it still fails and you have not overclocked the card in any manner simply RMA the card from where you bought it from.
It should have at least a years parts warranty on it.

I tried to unistal catalyst through safe mode but it said that it cannot be unistalled in safe mode.Than i restarted pc and now i everything normal..What the ****?
