Nvidia and AMD flavor, each have strengths in certain games (especially mantle for AMD) so look those up first.

OC this card, and leave the GTX 780 in the dust.

If you want identical performance for a much cheaper price and I mean like only ~2 percent worse at gaming than r9 290x, take a look at these.

Oh yeah, I have that card <3 <3 <3

Just leave it at stock... no need to overclock anything - keep the warranty, it rocks as it is. Honestly, no idea why people even overclock those...

And yes R9 290 Vapor-X is almost as good as 290X Tri-X, so that's definitely an option, amazing value there.
