Looking for an SSD for ~$60

Hey so I'm in the market for my first SSD that'll be ~120 GB and ~$60 seeing how my current hard drive isn't going to hold up much longer (bad sectors etc)

I believe a lot of people will say fork in the extra money for a Samsung 840 but I feel like the difference will be negligible between the 840 and comparable drives like the V300 and Ultra Plus.

Can anyone enlighten me on an SSD decision?

V300 is known to have swapped to cheaper components inside so it is not as fast as before. There is a difference but Samsung has been in the SSD for a long time so they are pretty reliable.
Crucial MX100 is probably one of the main competitor against Samsung SSD. Their SSD are pretty decent.
Another option is ADATA Premier Pro SP900
