I'm trying to overclock my i7 4790k with my Corsair Hydro h100i on a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 mobo.

When i overclock to 4,6ghz and i run intel stress test i seem to get temperatures of 90-100degrees and as i've seen other people getting stable temps at 60-70 with an air cooler i am asking what am i doing wrong? or is this normal?

EDIT: I am using stock fans and stock thermal paste.

If you run AIDA64, what cpu temps do you get?
Check if your H100i's pumps are working.

If you reset your overclock to default, check the temps again.
Make sure the cooler is installed correctly on the cpu.

while overclocked i get 95-100degrees and while default setting(4ghz) i get 65-75degrees.
I will let my father have a look if its installed correctly tommorow.

while overclocked i get a blue screen after running AIDA64 for 2-5min.

You might have installed the cooler in some kind of a wrong way or maybe its just a bad chip.
