I am having an issue with instaling windows. After windows boot starts instaling windows, first part of instalations goes without an issue but after first restart it starts the same process again copying same files again and again. I tryed changing cd rom and hard drive even took another copy of windows but it is doing same thing again and again. P.S. i tryed changing boot sequence from HDD to CD/rom and vice versa but still the same thing. What could be wrong can anyone help. Thank you in advance.

When/before it reboots, take the DVD out of the drive, thus preventing if from making the mistake of starting again

Would a dead CMOS battery cause this?

all you can do is replace and retry

Well, it would be cheap fix... and they do run out eventually, like any battery... it's the only thing I can think of that would cause such a basic function as boot device choice to fail...

well I think when its installing it looks over your system and picks this and disregards that as it loads it fit the correct files to be used to make a boot record and its seems to be finding something it cant recognize and hangs right there cause it figure it out and important enough to not be able to skip over it and move on
