Hello I was replacing the psu in my desktop which I haven't used in quite some time, but it was working fine a month ago. I replaced the stock psu with a thermaltake 600w psu, everything is wired gpu fan works but no picture, disc drives work all fans work but my usb ports do not work and the is a 4 pin female that when in it in it shuts off my comp and does not allow it to turn on. Please help I wanna figure out what the issue is and rectify it today. Thanks for your time.

It does indeed sound to me like your motherboard is malfunctioning. What motherboard is it? :)

I'd suggest not using that 4 pin female connector you're talking about as it doesn't seem necessary and if it's causing problems you should just stay away from it. Sounds like it could be the floppy drive connector. Can you boot while pressing F8 on startup? That should put it into safe mode and you should see a picture if it's a driver issue. Make sure the USB2 port from your case is connected properly to the motherboard. Are you 100% sure you have the HDMI/DVI cord connected from the GPU to the monitor properly? :)

Well ive made sure my usb were hooked up correctly, I tried running it without the gpu, still no picture on the monitor and no response from the usb ports, so that tells me motherboard is junk correct?
