Earlier this month I built a computer, it was my first time doing it, but I did have a friend helping me out and he's built plenty before. The computer worked fine for a bit but now when I turn it on the fans will start up, the lights all turn on but nothing will show up on the monitor.
I know other people have had similar problems and I've looked through posts trying to find an answer, but nothing has really seemed to work. I've completely ripped everything apart and rebuilt it from scratch; making sure it isn't grounding itself, everything's plugged in properly, etc. I've swapped the graphics card, removed the hard drive, moved the RAM around, taken a stick out and nothing is helping.
Also, if the computer does end up booting up it will work perfectly fine, but if it goes into sleep mode, it won't wake out of it. Also, when it is turned on(but not booted), I'm not able to hold the power button to make it turn off (that may be a different problem altogether)
