I've been recently trying to build multiple gaming rigs and to choose the best one out of them, with the lowest price possible, I'm looking forward to play games such as; battlefied 4, watch dogs. far cry3, gta v, skyrim, crysis 3 and other next-gen games on ULTRA/HIGH and to be also able to run games on high/ultra for the next 4-5 years, I've came up with this build:

Components:

- CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 3.3Ghz 6MB L3 Cache s1150 - Tray
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3 LGA1150, Intel B85, DDR3 1600, PCI-E, VGA, DVI, HDMI
- RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz PC3-12800 Kit CL11-11-11-28
- GPU: EVGA GTX660 FTW ACX 2GB GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DP PCI-E
- Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EZEX 1TB Sata III
- Optical Writer: LG DVD±RW GH24NS x24 Black SATA OEM
- PSU: Corsair 500W Active PFC 80+ CMPSU-500CXV2 PSU or 550W (not sure)
- Case: Sharkoon BD28 Black / Red ATX Case No PSU
- Case-Fan: Scythe Slip Stream 120mm Case Fan 500RPM (2x)

My questions are listed below:

- Would I be able to run those games mentioned above on ultra to high settings? (next-gen games)

- Would I be able to run games on medium-high-ultra for the next 5 years?

- I'm looking for a good 21.5 inch monitor, a budget monitor, I'd appreciate it if you'd suggest me few monitors to consider.

- Do I really need a gaming mice & keyboard? (they're some sort of expensive) would they add a big difference on my gaming experience?

- Would an expensive branded headset make a cool addition to my gaming experience?

A quick note: I'm looking forward to be able to run the games on ultra-high on good frame limits (playable & enjoyable)

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,
Gerrard.

I can't order the PC online sorry, and those parts gonna cost me more than the parts I picked here, what do you think about the rig I built? and the Intel Core i5 4590 3.3ghz is meant to be better than the FX-6300, right?

To answer your question. You haven't a hope in hell (excuse my language) of running next gen games at 1080p ultra/high settings. I'd say downgrade CPU to i5 4790k (got that overclocking room for the future) at upgrade your GPU/Video Card to a 280X. If you can't afford that a 760 or 7970/7950 should do the trick for awhile.

If you want ultra and you are on a budget, you have to go amd for both. Amd offers cheaper gpus and cpus. I would strongly consider the 6300 because it will get the job done. If my build is too expensive go down to a 280x, if still to pricy then the 280.
