Hello, I was looking at http://, like a lot of people do. This TV obviously has its drawbacks, but, I have a question. Does anyone who knows a lot or owns this know if this can run 2560x1440@120hz or 60hz? This TV would be perfect for programming @4k, 30hz, and if it could do 60hz at 1440p or even do 1440p that would be amazing. I stuck this thread here because I figured it doesn't fit as well as a TV question.

My friend purchased this TV about 2 months ago actually and from what I remember when we were setting it up it only ran 30Hz on 1440p when configuring it with to work with windows and he was trying out his 780 Ti SLI on it. Can't say it was the most impressive thing I've ever seen and really even with 4K the display's panel itself is very bland and the post processing effects on it can't be completely disabled so you'll always have input lag on it.

I only know of the 27" RoG Swift ($800) that does 2560 × 1440 WQHD with 1ms response rate and 144Hz max refresh rate. At 23-24" you are talking $250 range for 144 Hz @ 1920 x 1080. The human eye can distinguish individual pixels at about 96 ppi.... less than that, the picture starts to look grainy....

27" @ 1920 x 1080 = 81.6 ppi
27" @ 1560 x 1440 = 108.8 ppi

24" @ 1920 x 1080 = 91.8 ppi
23.6" @ 1920 x 1080 = 93.3 ppi
23" @ 1920 x 1080 = 95.8 ppi

There's also the Tempest Overlord line but tho it can reach 120 Hz, it's not guaranteed.

definitely not $200 but this might pique your interests http://www.amazon.com/Tempest-X270OC-2560x1440-Display-... it was just featured on toms a week or so ago actually
I meant a 1080p 120hz or a 60hz 1440p monitor in that price range. I see why that's confusing.
