Thanks to everyone that's made suggestions and solutions to my questions so far. I've been looking online to confirm compatibility of components for changes to my rig and there's only 1 I'm not totally sure on yet so any help would be much appreciated.

I'm fitting my Asus P8Z77V-LX2 Motherboard http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-p8z77vlx into a new case and was going to change the CPU cooler at the same time from the Intel stock cooler

However I currently have 4 sticks of Patriot Viper 3 ram which has a relatively high clearance http://pcpartpicker.com/part/patriot-memory-pv316g160c9qk I was wanting to fit a better CPU cooler as I'll be moving everything into a new case so thought now was the time to set the cooling up to OC the CPU in the future as well as lowering the current 70 degrees under load. So would a Cooler Master Hyper 212 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2 fit the mobo with the higher clearance ram? The stock Intel cooler is about 3-5mm from the head spreader just now. And also what else would anyone recommend?

Cheers

Thanks prit87. Its the NZXT Phantom 410 so checked its compatibility on pcpartpicker and seems fine. Only thing it flagged up was the RAM clearance as it doesn't take that into account.

its a very good case one of my fav...it has a large gpu and cpu heatsink clearance u will have no prob ..... for ram if u face such prob which u will not then u always have the option to lift the heat sink fan hinges up to make more space for ram ....
