Hey guys I am very frustrated because I haven't been able to use my computer for about 3 days now. When playing games, or just browsing the internet, I get flickering lines across the middle of my screen which later lead to a black screen and then I have to hard reset. This has only be happening for 3 days now and I have had my new build for about 2 weeks.

Specs:
amd fx 8350 4.0ghz
samsung evo 250gb ssd
gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 rev 4.0 on current bios update of F2
hyper 212 evo cpu cooler
g.skill trident-x @1666mhz
corsair cx 750 power supply
sapphire r9 290 tri-x oc 5gb ddr5 Overclock Edition
monitor is a BenQ GW2450 @60hz 1920x1080 LCD

I have been browsing forums and posts EVERYWHERE for the past 2 days trying numerous things, and none will work. I don't believe it is a hardware issue because the problem temporarily fixes itself for an hour or so. I am able to run BF4 at Ultra flawlessly for 1-2 hours at normal temperatures and then out of nowhere the flicker begins and screen goes black.

When the screen goes black, I can still hear the sounds from Teamspeak 3 of my friends talking as well as game sound usually.

Things that I have tried:

1. My monitor is currently using a DVI-D to HDMI adapter. I have changed the HDMI cord 4 times and nothing has worked. I may go purchase a DVI-D cord later, but I am thinking that it won't help at all whatsoever.

2. Uninstalling Drivers. I have uninstalled my drivers in safe mode with DDU and used CCleaner at least 10 times now. I have tried all these drivers at least twice: 14.7 14.4 14.2 14.1

3. Faulty PCI x16 slot. This is not the case, I have changed the PCI slot the GPU is in twice now.

4. Faulty Motherboard battery. I have changed the MOBO 3v battery twice, no help.

5. Faulty GPU. If I can run games at ultra settings with over 120 fps for 2 hours and then it happens and I can still hear game sounds and my friends, I highly doubt it is the GPU or PSU.
The problem goes away and reappears.

6. I have owned all of these new parts for less than 2 weeks. Except for my PSU and Monitor which I have had for about 3 months. They are both in great condition and I don't see why they should be acting up.

7. CPU seated in-properly. I have taken apart the entire PC, reapplied thermal past Arctic Silver 5, changed ram Slots from single to dual channel, booted with one stick, nothing helped.

8. Smash the computer and burn it. Yet to come.

If you guys have any ideas whatsoever I am here all day. I would love to get this resolved and will try everything possible and give you guys the feedback. Thanks for your time.
