hello, my friend needs a good gaming pc to run everquest next/everquest landmark, black desert and such online mmo next gen games, he cant efford a standalone/premade pc so he was hoping to build one from scratch, we could tell our store what components we want it with and they should make it for us, we search for the lower price-best suited pc for these kind of games, he is not hardcore gamer so he wont play any games like the ones that will come out for pc on the ultra and such, he wants (60) good fps on next gen online games and such, could anyone build a good pc suited for him?
thanks.

we are talking about i7 cuad core 3,6ghz or higher, 8gb ram or higher, gtx 770 or higher kind of pc. he intends to keep it for some years but he is not hardcore and demanding.

Solution
Here is the build I came up with, I got it under $550 now.

This is an expensive High-End build. The i5 4690k is the best you can get imo, i7 isn't needed. The 4690k also allows you to overclock if you would like to do so. This mobo and GPU are high end, and can sustain more voltage if you would like to OC like I said. Corsair 750w is a great psu and should be more than enough. 8gb of very fast RAM. A sexy black case (One of my favorite) from corsair. A samsung EVO SSD; it is extremely fast and realiable, I own one myself. If you feel you need more disk space, buy a WD BLACK 1TB for about 90$ as well. The Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler will keep everything cool for its amazing price, and will also allow you to keep cool at overclocks of about 4.4ghz on the i5 (If you can remain stable that is).

Expensive build, but will crush anything you throw at it.

If you are saying a budget of $500, you would be lucky if you could afford an i5 with any half decent GPU on the market. You can't build a rig that can get 60fps on most new gen games (BF4, DAYZ, ARMA, COD, etc) with only 500$. The i5 and GTX 770 that you want is your entire budget right there.

No need to 16GB of ram.. and an SSD at this budget wouldn't work and you could get a better CPU or GPU.

I wasn't hating on the CPU, it would be easier at a later date to get an i3 with an H97 mobo, so you can upgrade your cpu later which would be the bottleneck later on. And I'm not making the discussion a intel vs amd discussion. No hate on AMD or intel.

I agree and for this budget an AMD cpu would be good.

Here is my build, I'm not familiar very well with AMD CPUs, so I went with the intel, This build is barely above $550, but is better than a "next gen" console.

I do agree with that, but the AMD mobo's. I have no clue how to chose and what socket.
