Hi guys! Today i went to turn my computer on and after the windows logo i got a black screen. Ive tried starting it in safe mode and it DOES work. But when i try and run normally it gives yet another black screen. I figured this could be a resolution problem, but i dont know how to make the resolution lower. Im running on windows 7 home premium, and i built my pc. Id also like to point out that everything worked perfect since August of 2013 when i first built it. This just started happening today. I have an asus maximus formula, 16 gigs of ram, and a nvidia geforce 770.

After working on the issue all day i finally found the issue. It seems my windows 7 got corrupt. I luckily had back up hard drive from a few weeks back with windows on it and my monitors lit up like christmas trees as soon as i popped it in. So for people getting the same issue and all else fails. Try reinstalling windows or revert to a previous state on your system.
