Could someone please help me. I just put a i5 4690 in my computer, and when I turn it on it shut back off in a second or 2 and it just keeps repeating. I reset bios from mobo. Unhooked hard drives and gpu and tried that didn't work either. If I put my old cpu back which is a i5 4430 it works fine. May I have a bad cpu?

Solution
Check your BIOS version. The 4690 is a new CPU, maybe you run an older BIOS version which doesn't support it. Version F9 for your motherboard's BIOS says "Support New 4th Generation Intel Core Processors", so check if you have at least that, even if F10 is the latest version.
