I have a buddy who currently has an Xbox 360. Obviously the console is old and soon will be obsolete. His immediate plan was to buy an Xbox One without the Kinect package for US $399. I am trying to push him towards PC gaming. Can someone put together a parts list for a budget gaming PC for US $400-500 that can out-perform or at least match the Xbox One?
Notes:
-His favorite games are Battlefield 4 and Titanfall
-He'll need a WiFi card
-If you include an AMD CPU, please include a CPU cooler
Since he is for now a bit of a pleb, he doesn't need anything fancy hardware-wise (No sli/crossfire, no overclocking, etc). However, when possible please give some headroom for possible upgrades in the future (Concerning the case and power supply, mostly).
If you have the time, putting together a PC Parts Picker list would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping out
