I just finished building my first PC to use for gaming. I mainly play Wildstar and Guild Wars 2. My frame rates seem very low for what my build is. In Guild Wars 2 I use the auto-detect selection for my video and I only get between 20-30 fps. When I put every setting on low I only get 40-50 fps. For Wildstar, on medium and High settings there is no difference, my fps is always between 20-30. Even when I use the ultra-low settings I only get 35 fps max.

Dont base your system performance on Guild Wars 2,i have lots of first hand experience with that game.

Long story short; Its built on a modified version of the Guild Wars 1 engine that was never designed to handle all the draw calls that the much larger area population of Guild Wars 2 has.

It also needs strong single threaded performance, which Intel does much better than AMD.

20-50fps in LA or crowded events is great, over <40fps in dragon fights/WvW zergs is more than most people hope for.

Bump your shadows and reflections down, they'll impact performance the most by a large margin. And leave rendering on Native.

Edit: also monitor your Temperatures and GPU clock speeds while you game. It could be thermal throttling or software conflicts.
