I have an Intel Core 2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz and play minecraft as my main game and get from 30-60 FPS in Minecraft and want more and was wondering what CPU would get me from 150-200 Frames and about 100 FPS while recording?

And i have an Asustek COmputer INC motherboard. Model: P5W DH Deluxe would a Intel Core i7-930 processor Quad-Core, LGA 1366, 8mb Cache, Gaming CPU be compatible with my motherboard????

No, the i7 would not work in that motherboard. The only thing a CPU has to be compatable with is the motherboard. The CPU is also kind of a crap one if you ask me... here's the board and CPU I would say to get, gives great performance and upgradability:

Motherboard:

CPU:

This is a 3.16ghz Core 2 Duo that is socket LGA775, I believe it would be compatible with your mobo (not positive), if so, it may be worth the $54 upgrade.

If you could spend around $130-$150, a new intel 1150 socket mobo and pentium Haswell G3258 CPU overclocked to around 4.5ghz would be among the best cpu's for non-multi-threaded games like Minecraft, and would likely keep up with overclocked Haswell i5 and i7.

Ok, did a little reading and it seems that the fastest core 2 duo for socket LGA775 was the E8600 at 3.33ghz. Here is a comparison between it and your e6600. It is 50% faster in single threaded workloads. I am seeing the E8600 used on ebay for under $40....

Can you spring for a better video card aswell? There are some very decent budget gaming cards out now for under $100

Indeed, I had an $80 Radeon card called the R7 250 and I was able to play Battlefield 4 on high!

Your card should play that game ok, I'd think the CPU upgrade would help feed data to your video card much more effectively. To me, it'd be worth $40 on ebay to see, after all the E8600 is 1000mgz faster... I'm not seeing any reason you couldn't swap it in and have a much faster system. No way to guarantee how an older system responds without just trying it out. I'd go for it, if it was me.

The only intel CPU's that are really overclockable are the unlocked "K" versions, as well as the new pentium haswell G3258 anniversary edition ($70). You wouldn't be able to tweak the E8600 in any meaningful way, I don't believe.

Depends on how good you cool it and how much patience you have. Also, many older CPU's don't have the easy capability to OC...

Not in any meaningful way.

If you are looking for more performance than the E8600, I'd suggest moving to newer hardware, i.e. socket 1150 motherboard and haswell CPU... Could be done for around $150, but would be a lot more messing around... but might be worth it depending on what you want to do in the long run.
