I am wanting to play newer games such as Titanfall, Evolve(when released), and games along that line. Will this pc be capable of handling most new games at the very least the lowest settings? I know it should run games such as Minecraft, and Skyrim. Also will there be any compatibility issues, and will it all fit in the case?

Here's the build:

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor. $118.99

Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard. $79.99

G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory. $84.98

Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. $50.40

Gigabyte GeForce GT 640 2GB Video Card. $89.99

NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case. $47.99

Cougar 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply. $49.99

Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) $99.98

I hope I posted this in the right thread( I'm new to tomshardware. ). Please leave suggestions. And I am able to up my budget if need be, however I would like to keep it close to 600-650$.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I have heard of quite a few issues with that card. But should it be able to handle the games I mentioned without the Radeon R7 260X?

Maybe try this.

You can overclock the CPU now to around 4.2 with the Coolermaster cooler. This would be a nice rig. And the 260x will surprise you in games that support mantle.
