I found a second-hand GTX 460 for 50$
Problem is, my motherboard has a PCIe 1 slot
My motherboard is an MSI 7383.

I was on intel's website, reading about the G31 Chipset.
Quote: G31 is not PCI Express 2.0 Compliant

Also, on the motherboard's website...
Quote: PCI Express v1.1 SPEC Compliant

Can my motherboard support PCI Express 2.0 or no?

It won't support support PCI-E 2 but the card is backward compatible and will work fine in the native PCI-E 1 slot. You'll be fine ;)

I think it should but there might be a bottleneck.

Okay. Will my Q6600 (Stock 2.4GHz) Bottleneck? My motherboard has a locked multiplier, so I cannot overclock it.

Well, anything that involves OCing is locked. My mobo is an MSI 7383 G31M2

The GPU will still work, you may get bottlenecked some by the CPU though, the Q6600 is a base 2.4 and a quadcore
