Hello everyone,
So I recently build my first gaming computer (Specs: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/L2NWzy) and run into a TON of problems which have been really stressful... I got everything how its supposed to be with a help of a friend, and everything seemed to work fine until I plugged in the GPU... GeForce GTX 770... the monitor shows no display at all, I've tested many things, I've downloaded and updated drivers, and BIOS (with an USB) for the mobo and have tried the GPU in my buddy's computer and it worked fine, I also tried the GPU in 2.0 and 3.0 PCIe slots, and it still did not work... so therefore the problem is not the GPU or the slots, it must be the configuration with the mother board... and I know it must have an integrated GPU but I have no clue what to do to make my GPU work... please help, this is my first build and its going downhill due to my lack of knowledge in the matter.

Ok, so I got...
First, you call the entire card the "Graphics Card" and the GPU is just the main processor on that card.

Checklist:
1) See if any BIOS settings are set to "iGPU" instead of "PCIe" or "Auto" (when connected to the motherboard so you can see. Read your motherboard manual for that section too if you wish. If "Auto" doesn't work try changing to "PCIe" before shutting down to move the connector to the card.

2) DVI cable for monitor is connected to the graphics card directly?

3) POWER connectors are attached to the card? (probably 1x6-pin, and 1x8-pin)

I can't think of anything else except perhaps to try a different card in YOUR motherboard to see if the board is defective though all PCIe x16 slots would surprise me.

Sorry for calling it the way I did, Im a complete noob when it comes to this.
1. Will check that when I get back from work, thanks a lot, will see if that fixes the problem.
2. Yes, I tried connecting it to the graphics card and the mother board, with 2 different monitors too, still got the same result.
3. Yep, 1 x 6pin, and 1 x 8pin (2pin + 6pin)

Ok, so I got it to work, I think the problem was that as soon as I plugged in the graphics card the monitor/pc would go to sleep... so I changed an option in "Wake Up even By" > Enabled "Resume by PCI or PCI-E device" (altough Im not 100% sure if it was that since I also left the options you told me to change, so now Ill have to change stuff back see what was the main probme) thanks so much for the help! Such a relief that it finally works...
