I have a pair of 4-pin fans, and a pair of 3-pin fans. From the purpose of the fans, It would be effective to put the 3-pins in the 4-pin header, and the 4-pins in the 3-pin header. To do this, I'll be using a PWM splitter, Silverstone CPF01 3.94" PWM Fan Splitter Cable .
Could anything go wrong from this? The 4-pin fans are SP120's, the 3-pins are stock fans from the Fractal Design Define R4.
