Like the title said. I'm buying a new CPU and I'm wondering about the i5 4670k or i5 3570k and I need to know if there are any known glitches or whatso ever with any of the cpu's and the produce of heat with the stock cooler. And if it's a reliable CPU for gaming. And other reliable information is even better.

Already thanks for the tips. And money wise won't be a problem just need some preferance.
(and also I need a new Mobo with the cpu with a 100euro budget any suggestions?)

*edit I got an AMD fx 4100 quad core 3.6 GHz and I feel it's really outdated.

There's been a lot of posts recently that the i5 4670K seem to be running a tad hotter at stock. Not much that decent cooling won't take care of, I think. I would not buy the older i5-3750 Ivy bridge now. I'm typing this on a computer with one and while I'm happy, I recognize that it's now old. They were quite bad for overclocking, the older i5-2500K overclocks better and the newer i5-4690K should also be better at overclocking given some changes Intel made to the Thermal Insulation and some of the capacitors? on the chip.

In CPUs, when given a choice with no apparent benefits, always take the newer, unless the price is right. :)

Well I'm not really aiming for overclocking if I got some heat issues tho. but if I got some money to spare I might buy a better cooler tho but thanks for the information. I will see what other people prefere.
