As described in my title, I need an alternative for my fan. It's loud and annoying.. Is there some sort of platform that exists that cools the bottom of a laptop? Or an external fan of some kind that quietly cools it?... Any information would be great. I'm tired if having to CRANK up the volume on this damn thing because it's so loud... Thanks.

any laptop cooling pads that will perform at a level worth it, will be more than likely just as loud as the fan your complaining about.
that's one of those things that you need to consider when purchasing the laptop
