Hello everyone. Well, after i upgraded my rig, i'm constantly having stuttering in heavy games like Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. It happens randomly in the middle of multiplayer matches, and it's more often in Battlefield 4. Also, if i turn on Nvidia Shadowplay, ALL OF THE GAMES i play suffer from this problem. Personally, I think is related to my Hard Drive, which is very slow and old, because, for some reason, when i'm gaming, windows task manager tells me the HDD is at 100% use. Could you help me?

Here's my rig:

Intel I5 4670k
Asus Maximus VI Formula
4GB DDR3 RAM
Zotac GTX 750 ti
Corsair CX750M
148GB 3gb/s HDD

I play Battlefield 3 at 1680x1050 at ultra settings, i guess this should not be happening, because the 750 ti is able to run Battlefield 4 at high settings. I've already tried to run BF3 on high, and i still have stuttering.

Firstly, BF3 and BF4 has some bugs that cause Stuttering. Second, Check that internet speed is enough for this type of heavy game in multiplayer. Third, you should have to change your Hard-drive. Fourth, there's no problem with your system specs, its good and able to run at high settings easily. Fifth, u should check that your windows drive is not almost full or remaining space is 3gb.

try it at medium, see what happens. Also, try to rule out network lag if possible. Multiplayer maps can be heavy esp for large maps (i play bf4 regularly)

monitor your fps also if you have not done so (afterburner + HWinfo64 can help you here). see if it dips below 30 when you encounter the stutter. a consistent >40 would be nice

My internet connection is fine, always stable at 15Mbps download and 0,90 Mbps Upload. I have almost 40GB free space in my windows drive, which is my only drive. I just finished a BF3 match on Operation Firestorm, at the beginning, i tried to run the game at 1680x1050 on low settings, 110 fps on average, but still stuttering. I know my system is perfectly capable of running BF3 at max settings, i've already seen youtube videos of people playing with inferior CPUs at 1080p on ultra and getting no stutter at all. Guys... if a GTX 750 ti couldn't run a game like BF3 on ultra, i would definetly kill myself, this card costs aroud 300 'murican dollars at my country, it's a rape!

ok, when you say average 110fps and still stuttering, what was your fps when it happened? if the fps was high enough (not below 30) then im guessing either its the game or it is your connection (or might be the server also).

a few things, try to play on a different server, try playing with 32 players only.
also, check your ping, even if you have 50mbps it doesn't mean anything if your ping is bad.

bf3 and bf4 is a demanding game. a 750Ti is not really a powerhouse, a good card yes but it cannot be compared to say a 770 or even a 760.

As i was saying, i know the 750 ti is not that much, but everything at this **** people call country is just too damn expensive, so i couldn't afford anything better. Maybe you're right about this "connection" issue, i usually have like 40ms ping for anyone inside my country but since there is not a lot of battlefield 3 servers online i play at usually 140~190ms ping. When the stuttering happens... well, my fps drops all the way back to 0, and my game freezes. On Ultra settings, fps doesn't go below 30 fps, except when stuttering. Anyway, I wasn't having this problem back when i had a GT 630, i played the game on 800p at 35 fps, but no stuttering at all. Also, I think this could be an issue somekind related to my RAM, i know that one single memory chip is damaged, since windows is telling me that I have only (3.9GB), and by knowing where this RAM came from it might have another problems.

if the fps drops, then it means that what the pc is rendering is too much for your rig at that point in time.
if the fps is stable but you still experience stutter, then that is a network lag (or the server cannot handle that many players)

or it can be both. my suggestion, play the game on medium settings, you won't be missing much anyway. when you are playing, you rarely stop to see how shiny the floor is.
i have a 670, but i play only at medium (sometimes high). because i want consistent fps. my target is 120fps (i have a 120hz monitor). so i try to get as close to it as possible. but even on medium, my rig cannot deliver 120 on some maps

I think not. If you search on youtube, you'll find videos that show the framerates i was supposed to get. Anyway, yesterday, 07/29, Nvidia launched the 340.52 driver, and ALL of my stutter is gone. Now i can play BF3 on ultra without dropping below 30 fps. Thanks for your help all along.
