should I buy a 750 TI GPU now or wait a couple more paychecks and get a 780?

Some of you might know my posts on this site about building a computer and I'm just researching to the best of my ability about which card should I get? I love the amount of FPS you get and I like how games look on the PC, whereas consoles.. it's a bit shaky. So which card should I get? or even suggest me another one or ask me questions.

i have a 3770 in my main computer with a 780 and in my other computer i have a FX 6300 at 4.5GHz with a R9 290 and i have used my 780 in both computer and there is no bottleneck.

and i used to have a 760 4GB and if i didnt get my 780 on sale for a good price i would have used that card forever it can run almost all games on ultra at 1080P and i would go with the 760

the 780 is WAY overkill for most 1080P games and the 760 or the 770 would be the best for there price.. and with my 780 i'm only using 80% in most games and getting 60+ FPS

(my 780 is overclock to 1201MHz core)

I agree, 760/770 if you want the best-bang-for-buck on the Nvidia side. GTX 750 Ti is a low-power consumption card, and its performance isn't terribly great. GTX 780 is one of the best GPUs available. AMD has nice offerings, and often better price-to-performance, just something to consider.
