Phanteks PH-SP140 .... usually $10 on newegg egg. I have 15 of em and cooling a 4.6 Ghz 4770k and two 780's w/ 26% OC..... with eyes closed, you can't tell whether system is running even when running stress tests.

I have had the air filters out for last 6 months .... no dust issues so far but that depends entirely on how much dist at home, flooring type, pets, etc. I have hardwood floors in my office, kids rooms have carpet and they have to blow...

thanks, Jack, i'll look into them :D

and with a house full of kids and pets and not one air filter, the computers get blown once a week... once a month - ha - they'd be crispy and dead ;)

I use filters in all the carpeted rooms..... I had the filters on in the big desktop (14 fans blowing in / 1 out). It took them off to do measurements of how much temps were being affected .... ( A WHOLE LOT) ..... never quite got around to putting them back and w/o and downside (marginal dust so far) no downside as yet.

a whole lot ... cooler without the filters?
anyway, if it does need some sort of filtration, then i'll be looking for one 280mm square. if nobody makes them that big, i'll smash something together with speaker grille fabric.
