Hello people!

I am having a small issue with my TV. It keeps turning off while I use it.

Now, to be more clear, the TV shuts off when used, usually after at least 2-3 hours(when it does turn off. The actual probability of it shutting off if pretty low and doesn't happen too often). It doesn't give any warning. It just turns off. Also, the standby light turns red. Then I use the remote and turn it on and it turns back on.

The TV is a 39 inch 1080p LED 60hz Seiki SE391TS (yeah, I know it is a cheap TV). Also, kind of rare.

This is quite frustrating because the TV takes around 7 seconds to turn on. And there is no pattern. Sometimes it turns off after 2 and a half hours. Sometimes it never shuts off.

First conclusion was the PSU. It was a cheap TV. Could be bad. Or maybe its overheating in the Texas heat. However, when I turn the TV back on, it runs for at least another 3 hours.

Next conclusion. Problem with the control board that has the power switch on it.

Third conclusion is the power from the wall outlet. My house does have some strange things with our wiring and such. Could be possible, but all my other devices are fine.

Final conclusion. I could be hitting my remote and shutting my TV. Highly unlikely.

I honestly have no idea what the problem here is. However, if it is the PSU, I can get a replacement one here http://www.amazon.com/SEIKI-SE391TS-POWER-SUPPLY-MP022-...

What do you guys think?

Also. I don't really want to open the TV up unless it is absolutely necessary. I use it often and don't want to be without it.
