HDMI output is not working on my PC

As an alternative to Wamphryi's good suggestion above, when you say the "one on top", do you mean the HDMI port on the motherboard? Near a lot of USB ports and audio ports? If so, that is normal. That HDMI port is for the integrated graphics (on the CPU), which get deactivated when a graphics card is present (in this case, your GTX 770).
